The Online Splicer OS 401W offers an automatic and fail-safe splice without a stop of the product line. The unit is a combination of • 2 unwinders (similar LW 400) • one splice module and • one material accumulator The unwinders are used to drive cross-wound self-adhesive tape rolls with full tension control and to deliver the tape to the production line • gently • at definite line tension regardless of the line speed while at the same time peeling off and rolling up the liner. The AutoSplice-function enables in conjunction with the material accumulator a NonStop-operation of the production line. Furthermore the table-interchange technology of the splicer offers a fast, convenient and precise exchange of the tape width without excessive adjustment.
